How to Add an E-mail Account in Outlook Express
Follow these steps to quickly add and configure your
e-mail account to Microsoft's Outlook Express 5.

Open Outlook Express, click "Tools", then
"Accounts".

Click on the "Mail" tab to display any
installed e-mail accounts only. Click "Add", then
"Mail" to start the set-up wizard.

Type in the name that you would like to appear on
your outgoing messages and click next.

Type in the e-mail address to use and click next.

Enter the names of your incoming and outgoing mail
servers (these are provided by your ISP), then click next.

Type the account name (usually the portion of the
e-mail address before the @) and your password. Check the
"Remember password" box and click next.

Click "Finish" to complete the set-up.
If you need to re-configure the set-up for any of your e-mail
accounts, go back to "Accounts" on the "Tools"
menu. Highlight the desired e-mail account and click the
"Properties" button. The following dialog box allows
you to review and change the settings for the selected account.
Click "OK" when finished.
